Tryout Registration

You will need to do the following when registering:

  • Complete the tryout registration for each player BEFORE showing up to the first day of tryouts. This registration platform does not function well on Safari. We recommend using a different browser.
  • Players need to be registered for each age group they will be trying out for and wear the assigned tryout shirt for the specified age group each night.  A player may try out for an older team, but not a younger team.
  • Payment will be required at the time of registration and must be completed online. If paying with a credit card creates a hardship for you, please contact [email protected].
  • Tryout schedules will not be emailed out. Please check the top of this webpage for the schedule.
  • The Early Bird Registration fee of $10 is offered before May 11th; It is $15 after that date.
  • There are NO REFUNDS for tryout registrations, so please consider this carefully before registering.
  • Please DO NOT register for our Recreation program if you are trying out for a competitive team. If you do not make a team, you can register at the beginning of June for the Recreation program.

Tryout Schedule

  • Please arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to the first day of tryouts to check-in at the pavilion and get a tryout shirt. This shirt must be worn on both nights of tryouts. Do not wear a tryout shirt from a previous year.
  • It is recommended to attend both nights of tryouts. However, if you can only attend one night, please inform the coaches. If possible, notify coaches before the night of tryouts.
  • Players must wear shin guards and cleats, bring a properly inflated soccer ball with their name on it, and plenty of water.
  • Coaches will address parents and players at the start of tryouts and at the end of each evening, so if you can hang around, it would be beneficial.

Tryout FAQs

The fee is so low because we passionately believe in offering the most affordable price possible for quality youth soccer training and competition in the State of Utah. Our licensed coaches not only volunteer to coach to help accomplish this, but pledge to continue in their coach education for the benefit of their players and the club.

Yes. However, if you request a specific coach or coaches when you register for tryouts, then the other coaches may not evaluate your player.

No. Emails will not be sent out, but notifications will be sent out via social media. Be sure to check this page often to see the updated schedules.

Coaches will be contacting players to let them know where they placed after tryouts, so results for tryouts will not be posted.

This is a tedious process, so please allow a couple of days for the coaches to reach everyone.  If you have waited longer than two days, feel free to reach out to the coaches.  However, three days is not out of the ordinary to wait to hear back since the process of building a roster can be delayed for several reasons.
