Referee Training

Do you sometimes wonder what constitutes a foul in a soccer match?  How is an offside call determined?  Why did the referee not call a foul when it was obvious and call for the players to play on?  What do the referee signals mean?  What is a hand ball?

Copper Mountain Soccer is excited to extend an invitation to all players, parents and coaches to participate in this free soccer training.  Mark Probert keeps your attention as he covers the basic laws of the game, teaches some basics as far as how to referee and then will open it up to a Q&A.  Our hope is to educate our soccer community and thereby create even more enjoyable soccer games for everyone.  In addition to a better informed league, we would also like to pay our players 14 years of age and older, parents and coaches to referee our recreational games, a prerequisite being that you attend one of these trainings.  You are welcome to attend as many of these free training sessions as you would like.  Although the same material will be taught at each session, please feel free to come to multiple sessions to refresh your memory, and take part in each unique Q&A.
