Scott Bloomfield

Scott Bloomfield has an USSF “E” license, Goal Keeper L1 and Goal Keeper L2 Diplomas from United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA). He played club soccer in Utah and has been involved with coaching at the youth rec and competition levels since 2013. For the past three years Scott has been an assistant coach for the Copper Mountain DH 2003 Girls team, which was the finalist (silver medal) in the 2015 Adidas Cup Bronze Division and has been promoted in league play each season. Scott wants players to enjoy training sessions, learn to thrive in competition, and fall in love with the game and being active. He strives to develop complete soccer players by focusing on tactical understanding of the game (decision making), technical mastery of the ball (skills), physical endurance (fitness), and psychological/social awareness (teamwork and mental toughness). Scott’s coaching mantra can be attributed to a quote from the legendary USWNT coach Tony DiCicco – “If it isn’t fun, it’s not soccer.”
